The Community Empowerment Project, is active in the community by supporting local people in Broomhouse, Parkhead, Sighthill and surrounding areas of West Edinburgh to become more involved in their community and assist them to become involved in decision making within their local area

We Work Toward:

	Increasing local involvement in the community
	Supporting community participation in community planning
	Supporting local projects and community groups
	Providing and sharing information with other groups and organisations ( Networking)
	Encouraging members of the community to become volunteers
	Supporting the community to organise groups to fill gaps within their needs

We provide information on local training opportunities, support local training courses and provide one-to-one support, aimed at improving the skills, confidence and capacity of local people to enable them to consider employment opportunities.
